that makes me laugh. id show you mine if i had a camera. i have a 17" Dell CRT as my main and a crappy 14" lcd to the side.

2.66GHz core 2 duo (i think) oc to 3.2GHz
9800gt
2G RAM
G5 laser gaming mouse

other than that everything is pretty minimal. i dont have a lot of money cuz im paying my college tuition. next thing id like to invest in is a monitor but that would be a few hundred and i dont want to spend that much right now.

same motherboard, same vid card, same processor speed. maybe i need to get more ram. i have 2 gigs. i just cant explain this 15-20 fps.

same mouse too but mines orange. maybe thats the problem?

If I was you man, Id probably just reformat. That would most likely fix your issues.

Wow sweet setup Bus.... but aren't both your graphics cards overkill for tf2? I run my 8800GTS 512MB and all my settings are maxed, but for games like Crysis I gotta get another of the same card I guess and run em together. Thats what kinda monitor I got-32'' Sharp HD and a 19'' HD,4 gigs RAM,vista 32, dual-core AMD or whatever....actually I don't even know what the fk i'm talkin aboult lol so I won't even try. Actually in this thread I was hopin for a pic of your setup to see a glimpse into your gaming life lol.

..........unless you're running Vista Slaughter......Vista is constantly using 1GB of RAM at all times, if you are running vista get more RAM.

no im on xp. so wtf is going on? i reformatted before and it didnt help anything. but i havent reformatted since the new video card so maybe ill try that sometime soon.

and to careface: i didnt notice any difference moving from my radeon 1600xt to the nvidia 9800gt. still sucks bad either way.

no diff??? wierd, i don't know much, but you can't go wrong with more RAM!!

no diff going from a 1600xt to 9800gt is very wierd. it seems like you have a driver issues somewhere, or possibly sound card. Or maybe its a conflict with some of your hardware and TF2. Id still try reformatting.

the sound is just the integrated motherboard sound. would that affect it? and i have updated drivers for my video card. dont know about the others but none of them are seriously out of date. i will reformat when i dont need my computer for a day or 2 and hopefully that will help.

just print screen and paste it in paint. then make sure to save it as a jpeg or gif. bitmaps are too big. then you can up it to imageshack.us.

This is the best i can figure out with imageshack and you have to click on this link and then the picture that comes up on the imagshack site. still it doesnt get big enouph really.

that looked big enough to me. the resolution wasnt great so any bigger wouldnt have gotten any clearer probably. unfortunately my setup doesnt include cool stuff like cartman and guns. just some pottery from my high school ceramics and my yamaka. ill get a pic up as soon as i find a camera. perhaps i can use a roommates phone camera.
