getting to know you

hey guys im slaughtermelon. you can call me slaughter or melon in game. id like to get to know you all since were now neighbors. i know driver from back when he was xeno for those approximately 3 days. i was a trialee at some point around the same time but i withdrew my app. so far i think i only really know disruptor. driver seems to vouch for all of you though so i think well have a good time.

im a 20-yr-old junior at the university of washington in seattle. majoring in mechanical engineering. when im not at my computer which is seldom i like to ride my bicycle or play beer pong. im also a big pop music fan, especially power pop. im a little gayish but i like girls. my favorite color is blu. my favorite movie is sky captain and the world of tomorrow.

i used to play sniper mainly, but ive sorta fallen out of that in recent weeks. medic is now my best and most played class. i am still decent with sniper. after that i can play an ok soldier but will probably do a limited amount of that since driver and disruptor are both way better than i am. i am a really hot and cold spy. scout and pyro i can do a decent job of if the situation calls for it. finally i am a terrible demo and heavy and engi and avoid those classes as much as possible. i play anywhere from 10 to 20 hours of tf2 in a week, any time of day or night. i also enjoy single player shooters when they catch my eye but i hate RPGs and strategy games. right now im loving dead space and cant wait to start far cry 2 soon.

hope you guys will share a little too so we can get this forum party started. and if anyone makes any sort of drama shit like xeno is famous for i will personally punch your testicles right out of your scrotum.

I'm sure you all know me, but Ill give a quick post anyway.

Obviously I'm BusDriver, I love playing Soldier. Ive played shooters for many years, since back in the Goldeneye days and ever since. I just love to shoot things dead. I think thats why I choose Soldier as my main class in TF2, it suits my play style. I like to play a very offensive game, but not Kamikaze offensive. I'm usually heading for the enemy intel on 2fort if you ever watch me, or possibly running away with it. I don't play much else, a little Medic and Sniper thrown in. I'm OK at both of those, not great. Right now steam says Im playing 20 hours a week, so I'm on quite a bit. I'll see you all on the battlefield.

hey folks, guess i'm shadow. Still fairly new to TF2 as far as my hours put in but I love pyro. Chances r if you see me in game i'm pyro, and if the team has too many i may switch teams to play pyro. Lighting things on fire is very fun and i recommend it to everyone, in game and out. I play all genres of games mostly, used to be RPGs and platformers, now its more FPS and horror/suspense. I play about 10 hours a week and up depending on what games i have on the go at the time.

Hey guys, i'm CareFace cause i always have it on. I have been a hardcore console gamer in all game genres except sports games, until 5 months ago when I decided to give a PC game a shot (TF2), I used to swear on console gaming and was extreemly skeptical going into it, but as soon as I started playing I was AMAZED at the amount of control I had and quickly got the hang of it and have been kickin ass ever since. Now the PS3 is only used for Guitar Hero, my most recent game is Fallout 3 and I recommend it to EVERYONE, it is the most amazing game I have ever played. On an old-school note I also treasured (deeply);Final Lap Twin for the TurboGrafx16 lol.
I was a career bartender for 8 years but had a kid and quit my job and bad habits (mainly drinking like a fish). Now I don't know wtf i'm doin with my life but I got my class 1 drivers and 1st year mechanics in heavy duty and automotive mechanics but I just haven't pursued these yet. I just got approved for a full year of EI with full benefits so I spend alot of time sitting on my ass playin vids. Actually today I just went out with 2 friends today and cut 4 cords of wood in 8 hours,($250/cord btw) and the heaviest thing i've lifted in over a year is my mouse and I just got 2 leg cramps simultaniously a half hour ago. I can't believe I never had a heart attack today.
In game I enjoy playin medic and soldier, but i also play scout and pyro fairly well, and i'm tryin to get better at demo.

I live in the Yukon where it can get down to -50 celcius in the dead of winter....it fkn sucks but the summers are to die for, time between sunset and sunrise on summer solstice:1 hour!!! NO SHYT
Like I said i'm a noob but I think i'm doin pretty damn good considering, give me some time and i'll be unstoppable.

Yah, So i guess this introduction stuff is the "in" thing here, Ill give it a go. Im Nick. I play soldier and spy. You can usually find on on any server, Usually not 2fort because 2fort is full of wristslitting idiots most of the time. If you see me in game im usually spycrabbing around or shooting people with crit rockets.

No man, I keep getting email alerts(they were on by default) whenever theres a post in a thread Ive started. And my homepage shows my emails, so every time I open my browser It'll tell me if anyone has posted, and if someone has I check it. Sorry to tell you I don't wait around for you to post Nick.

Yo guys, I'm Ridic, (Matt), I live in Edmonton Alberta, and I am the Busdriver's room mate... I've been playing TF2 since it came out, played lots of TFC before that... in TFC I used to play lots of sniper, but in TF2, Im mostly always medic unless the team needs something else... I'm ok with Soldier, and I'm working on Demo's... I think Spy's are gay in every way. just don't ask.... I play most of the time after work which is 3AM for me, till around 6ish... And I enjoy long walks on the beach...
