What do you think about the updates?

So now that the next update is out we have to put up with bonks and invincible scouts. Along with the ol' backburner and natasha i feel the game is getting a little to umm . . . cheap. Sure it's fun to use some of the weapons but they make it easier for newer players to kill, and sure that may be good for bringing new players to the game but what about the old players. There hasn't been a server i've been to the last few days where people aren't complaining about what valve is doing to the game, and i agree. Just wondering what other thought about all the updates.

I can't even imagine what the spy updates will be. Just a week i won't play when there are 6-7 spies to a team.

edit : they are taking the team aspect and throwing it out the window. each class is suppose to have a purpose, but now they are giving the classes more abilities and functions that would be otherwise left to other classes (ex. a scout should not be able to take on a heavy - now with the bat heavies are jokes).

Yeah I agree with you. When the scout update first came out I was having a lot of fun playing as scout bonking people. But now that I'm back to playing soldier I get really annoyed by all the scouts running around. I can't wait for the spy update, I'll just play pyro the whole time.

you think you could set up the tko server without any of the bad updates driver? either none at all or else just one for each class? idk how hard that is to set up or if anyone has even made a patch like that.

everyone says when spys come out they are going pyro so my guess is that they will get a fireproof ability for some time like the scouts drink.

The fact that they're able to bonk u outta a fukin uber is BULLSHIT. Actually the bonk in itself is a horrible fukin idea, they're messin wit the flow of the game like shadow says, every class should have an incredible weakness and an incredible power, and these lines are quite thin. The updates for all classes before the scout were subtle and fun, they didn't fuck wit the toon enough to turn the tide of a game. But wtf good is it doing us bitchion about it here....isn't there an official feedback site we can go to to bitch formally about this shit? And i don't think i have sworn enough here so fuck shit cock n' balls whore ect...

I'm not that good or been playing that long but I agree simpler is better. An ubered combo that knew how to use it used to be like a dreaded tank. Now a kid straight off some achievement farm can stop it? Skill must be learned and earned.

Between classes too like rock, paper, scissors to promote teamwork. It is TEAM fortress 2 not, Bunch of scouts running around fortress 2.
